Leo Hillinger took over the winery from his father in 1990. Since the handover he has constantly developed his business. Today the Hillinger wine is internationally known. Since 2010 Hillinger pursues organic viticulture.Tasting notes:Golden yellow in the glass. In the nose a sweetish scent of honey and raisins. On the palate a dense structure with lots of fish. Long lasting in the finish. Grape varieties: 50% Chardonnay and 50% Welschriesling. Vinification: Stainless steel tank. Residual sugar: 221.4 g/l. Acidity: 7.2 g/l. Closure: screw cap. Storage potential: 20 years. The sweet wine harmonizes very well with desserts and cheese.
